Our week in Branson, MO was the first extended trip with our good friends, Hayward and Trena Mathis.  We started from Senoia, GA at noon time on a Friday in hopes to make it to Memphis the first night.  Since it was in March, it got COLD!!!  We hadn't made it to Mississippi yet and we were all cold!  Trena finally asked "Is it a law that we make it to Memphis tonight?"  So, we finally found a hotel just across the MS line in Fulton, MS.  The first two evenings in Branson had bad weather.  One evening, a bad storm was expected with hail, so we found a covered area on the resort property to park the bikes under.  The next evening ice was predicted.  After the bad weather moved through the temperatures warmed up for the rest of the week.  We had a great time since this was not a popular time of the year for tourists in Branson.  We had the place to ourselves!  Plus, southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas are perfect areas for motorcycling.
